Registration for the ARCAS 2021 conference are now closed.

Presentations

Presentations will go for 10 minutes, allowing a further 5 minutes for questions.

Code of Ethics and Policies

The Australian Archaeological Association (AAA) has developed a series of robust codes and policies. ARCAS will be deferring to these documents for the ARCAS 2021 online conference.

By registering you are agreeing to abide by the Code of EthicsSexual Harassment Policy 2012Discrimination Policy 2012Equal Opportunity Policy 2012 and Website and Social Media Policies developed by the AAA. Do not proceed with a registration if you are not willing to abide by the above Code and Policies.

The Conference Hosts and Managers reserve the right to cancel the registration of any attendee who contravenes these policies at any point during the conference.

Disclaimer

The conference organisers reserve the right to cancel, modify or alter any aspect of the conference schedule and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  The Conference Hosts will not accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party due to such changes.

Recording

As the ARCAS conference is online in 2021, we would like to offer you the option of having your presentation recorded for future educational purposes. If you do not consent to your presentation being recorded or images of your presentation being taken, please ensure that you indicate this at the start of your presentation. There is an ‘opt in’ for the optional recording within the registration form below.

Privacy

Your personal information will not be sold to third parties.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email the conference organisers who will correct the information. You may also withdraw your consent for use of your information by writing to the conference organisers.

We require your information to provide you with details of how to participate in the conference, including:

  • Confirming your attendance and participation in the conference;
  • In the Attendee List published for the conference;
  • Provided to organisers of future occurrences of this conference;
  • May be used to provide you with information of other relevant conferences in your area of interest.

The parties who will have access to your information are the conference organisers, attendees and any future organisers of the conference.

By registering to participate in the conference you are giving your consent to the above, for the purposes of compliance. However, you may withdraw your consent at any time by notice in writing to the conference organisers. You are entitled to access the information held by written application to the conference organisers.
