The Australasian Research Cluster for Archaeological Science (ARCAS) is delighted to announce the upcoming Australasian Archaeological Science Student Symposium to be held on Thursday 30th November 2023. This student-run, one-day symposium will be a forum for student researchers in all walks of archaeological science to share their research within a broader community. It will also be an opportunity for interested students to learn more about how to study archaeological science within Australasia.

We encourage anyone interested to attend, regardless of whether you will be presenting or have experience in archaeological science! You can choose to attend online or in-person at The University of Melbourne or Macquarie University.

Registration is FREE! Please register to attend the symposium here. Registrations close November 20.

Want to present your research?

Abstract submission is now open for short oral presentations. You can submit your abstracts here. We encourage all students regardless of academic level (undergraduate, masters, or doctoral) to submit an abstract on a project relating to archaeological science which is completed or ongoing.
